DETAILS.

The Eagle Boy Scout Retreat Campground offers primitive tent camping, the perfect spot to sleep under the stars at night and explore Rock Springs Run during the day. This lot is open to the public when it is not being used by the scouting troops for $30/per site. 

If you are a Scout or Scout Leader,

We believe that scouting is adventure, family and leadership, helping one grow to their very best future self.  We invite all Scout Troops to come stay with us, free of charge! Please reach out to us via email info@kingslandingfl.com and let us know your troop number, number of tents, and number of guests and we will get you set up with a stay! 

 

  • Up to two tents per campsite allowed. ($10 fee for an additional tent)

  • One canopy per site allowed (E-Z Up, Screened in rooms)

  • 10 people maximum per site. 

  • Open primitive lot. No power or water hookups.

  • No hammocks are to be hung on the trees without tree protectors. 

  • Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit.

  • Access to the onsite outdoor shower rinse off area, cold water only.

  • Outhouse with toilet and sink, also two porta potties on site.

  • All Day access to old fashion swimming hole. No tubes or floats are allowed in the swimming area until 5pm when kayaking traffic stops. 

  • No large speakers or excessive noise. Please respect your neighbors or you will be asked to leave.

  • Please keep your site tidy! If you fail to pack out everything that you packed in, you will be charged a $25 clean-up fee. 

  • Please be aware of our trash loving animals. Black bear and racoons frequent the area and will find your food. Please keep your cooler and all food in your cars overnight and do not keep food in your tent. 

  • Children Under the age of 2 are not permitted

  • No pets are allowed on property.

  • 7 day maximum stay. 

  • Kayaking is not included in camping. Please make a reservation for kayaking as well if you plan on paddling the Run. BOOK HERE

  • No generators

  • Do not empty your own firepit. Please ask a staff member for assistance.

If you are staying the for the weekend, feel free to join us for at the floating firepit every Saturday at dusk! Bring along some s'mores and enjoy some community. The firepit is located directly on the river next to the swimming hole. Ask our staff for details when checking in! 

Saturday Night Floating Firepit

CHECK-IN.

Guest may check-in to campsites between 12pm - 5pm.

Our office closes at 5pm. Please call if you are going to arrive later than 5pm. If you arrive later than 5, you are welcome to set up your gear for the evening and check-in the following morning.

CHECK-OUT.

Guest may check-out between 8am - 12pm.

PARKING.

Each party will receive a parking pass for their cars that should be placed on the dashboard. 

There is free onsite parking directly next to the camping lot.

ONLINE WAIVER.

A completed waiver is required for each guest. A completed waiver is required for each guest. Please complete the waiver online prior to your visit to save time at check-in. Once you have booked your camping experience, you will receive a booking confirmation email with the waiver instructions.

RESERVATION POLICY AGREEMENT.

Must be 18 years of age to make a reservation.

Anyone under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.

Minors under the age of 2 years old will not be permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY AGREEMENT.

Cancel at least 48-hours prior to your scheduled reservation to receive a full refund.

To cancel a reservation, you must email King's Landing at info@kingslandingfl.com.

If canceled within the 48-hour period, you may reschedule or opt to receive an eGift Certificate.

All eGift Certificates will be valid up to one year.

At King’s Landing we recognize the environmental and spiritual benefits of paddling the beautiful Rock Springs Run.  We strive to provide our guests with access to paddle sport opportunities while leaving no trace, preserving the river and nature surrounding.
